Performance is okay, but i'm sure they will update it even more. graphically it can almost compete with some modern games. Looks good, not perfect, but still best version of this game as of right now. I have played this game over 30 times and i always got lost somewhere in the woods, because it was so difficult to even understand where you are. It simply looks way cleaner and better and don't get me wrong, fog is still there, difference is that you can actually now see where you are going. Maxed out, this is now best version of this game and nobody can argue that. So yeah main improvement is cutscenes, but also everything else, like grass, ground textures, textures in general, lighting. For 2010/2012, this game looks phenomenally good. Alan Wake Remastered offers the complete experience, with the main game and its two story expansions - The Signal and The Writer - in stunning new 4K visuals.
